Comment:

the first in a series of tapes of songs for artists. this one is for paul klee. he is my favorite artist. i think he would appreciate everything from the giddy goofyness of komeda and buffalo daughter, to the beauty of grandaddy and low, the twitchy fuzz pop of quickspace and radiohead, and of course, the good old fashioned pop song. yeah, i think paul klee would dig madonna! i saw paul klee's painting 'dance you monster to my soft song' when i first started college... and it changed my life. sorry to be so mushy... but this guy has a big, gooey spot in my big, fluffy, mushy heart.

Hank, Roy, bjork, stereolab, Built To Spill, lions, tigers, bears, oh my... Ok I got carried away, but I love the concept of music for artist, and vice versa art for music.
