Comment:

This is from November 2005, I'd just bought the first Lcd album and was quite impressed with how organic the programmed beats sounded. Evil 9 feature 'cos they share the Lcd love for cowbells. The jazz flavour comes from me having picked up all three of the Verve//Remixed albums (the jazz label, not the band) on the strength of Adam Freeland's remix of Sarah Vaughan. I'd heard it played out in a bar and it got all dem gal on the dancefloor singing along, so I thought I'd put together something with horns, vocals, and a more 'organic', less electronic feel, to give as a Christmas present to mates who aren't really into 'dance' music.
Ok, that's enough woffle. Erm, this mix is continuous. And I don't think jazz is bullshit.

I thought all the Verve remix albums were terrific and this mix looks the same.

must admit that most of this is a mystery to me . . . were it not for the death of my hard drive (and me being in the local library now), I'd be downloading frantically . . .

That Nina remix intrigues me.
