Feedback:
I'm familiar with virtually none of the individual tunes here, but I am extremely impressed with the eclecticism on display here: Roy Orbison, David Sylvian, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Carpenters, Isley Brothers, Chet Atkins, Vangelis...
So great to see a mix from you and it looks absolutely fucking top-notch, as per usual. I'll be looking forward to the link.
Chet Atkins playing La Vie en Rose is a highlight. Can't wait to hear this.
some top drawer material here ! Mahavishnu, Sylvian and Andrew Bird immediately grab my pecker . . .
I love Blue Bayou, such a beautiful song. Kathryn will be pleased to see that St.Etienne track. And I have a CD comp of Sarolta Zalatnay, I'll have to give it another listen.
Joe Raposo....nice!
I would love to hear that Chet, among others.
Love the Roy O, Mahavishnu, Andrew Bird, Isleys, Chet and Vangelis picks.
what rob said, pretty much
This looks flat-out wonderful.
This is my favorite of all your mixes. Just gorgeous.
those opening three go so beautifully together. other favorites were Chet Atkins, The Carpenters, Ian Bostridge, Maher Shalal Hash Baz... but that Los Zafiros song is best of all. gorgeous stuff, as Orchid says.
Very well-executed, the Chet Atkins and Isley Brothers on the same mix? I'm there.
