From Head To Toe (This is a ticklish situation)
Comment:
With the coming of spring, I was moved to take stock of the changes to my body - from head to toe, as it was. As the Buddha said, "To keep the body in good health is a duty . otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear."Thus, I had the jumping off point for this mix, noticing the lines drawn by time which "might be graffiti on your body," according to Ani DiFranco. I think it is this concern about aging that makes it difficult to let go of things in our own lives, whether it be a critical circumstance, a relationship or whatever. "It keeps us looking backward in all things," said Gary Maurer of Hem, "like having a Lazy Eye."
When coping with the realities of the aging process, sometimes it is helpful to return to childhood memories when thoughts of this nature were non-existent. I tried to remember the ticklish spots my dad found while compiling these tunes.
Quiz: To win a copy of this mix, name the band that found its name when one of its members was dumped by a seamstress.

Feedback:
I'm going to make a wild guess that "Hem" is a more seamstress-related band name than "Dashboard Confessional", but what do I know about sewing?
This looks like a full-bodied mix, and I'd give an arm & a leg to hear the Danny-Andrew-Ani opening trio, but if I'm in time to win the contest, even better!!

i'm gonna have to agree with the "hem" pick.
also, good job. i always think about doing mixes like this but get caught up in decisions like which song about feet i should use, et cetera.

you took a different approach to the body parts theme than i did with my pair of build me a woman mixes but the results just as good. quoting Buddha never hurts.
So little I know here but what I've heard of Hem I like.
Argh! Now I feel like I have new places to scratch that I can't reach! Ha! Ha! Great mix, as usual.
joey de vivre is the winner of the quiz. Granted, I lobbed a softball with this one, probably due to my lazy eye.
International Submarine Band & Elvis are highlights for me.
Anatomically and rhythmicly correct. Liking the Bird, DiFranco, Costello, Burke and Norah picks.
great mix, well done
This mix makes me tingle from my head to my toes! Nicely done.
looks really fun
I love the ISB track.
Nice theme and variety! It took me a few seconds to orient myself to that cover (Is she leaping through the air? Is she glued to a wall?)
Looks really nice.
Great concept for a mix, and well done. Nice notes, too. Don't forget to have you annual physical done.
I once helped Gemma Hayes to find a missing contact lens.
Another great addition to your fine 'body' of work. Ha ha, Oh I kill myself sometimes.. Slightly miffed that this mix doesn't contain 'From Head To Toe' by Chris Clark - one of the best songs evah...
wow, this was a more ambitious effort than i expected; received a cd yesterday and it's real professional! thanks!
