Comment:
Well, basically I went through all the music in Wes Anderson's five fantastic films (in case you're unaware: Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and The Darjeeling Limited) and made a mix of all my favorites. Some were chosen because of their correlation to their respective movie, while some were just chosen because they rock. I also didn't include any of the original music made by Mark Mothersbaugh, just to keep things a little less complicated. I've indicated the movie each song comes from (notice the abundance of songs from Rushmore?) for your information. Enjoy!Feedback:
I can't wait to see The Darjeeling Limited, this would make a tasty download, if possible.
Anderson's musical taste is unimpeachable. Why isn't he posting on AOTM? Or maybe he is!
I'm so glad you made this mix! I love, love, love Wes Anderson films (Rushmore's probably my favorite :) ), and he chooses the best music! Great mix, way to go.
I have a mix like this too, but mine's a bit different.
I REALLY need to get the bottlerocket soundtrack.
I REALLY need to get the bottlerocket soundtrack.
Anderson has come a long way from his slasher stuff. Interesting mix.
