Comment:
Found the inspiration at last to make a mix, aided by a fantastic gig I attended this week by The Higher State ( new album out nest month, a must buy for those of you who share my musical tastes)This is just a gathering of this week's tunes in the Frenchy household, Helen is in Spain, so the sounds have been LOUD.
Track #8 is sooo good it's just gotta be heard by everyone and I'd like to dedicate it to Gobi for the good times we spent there.
The final track is a by a French garage band, I met the singer at The Higher State gig check em out on Myspace.
Feedback:
Thanks for the head's up Cliff, sounds like the wanker time did you some good.
Good to see a mix on the boards from you Cliff. 2,4,9,11,14 & 19 are tracks I love..
nearly everything here is unknown for me, that's cool
geez Cliff, u know I love Dust Galaxy and ok the rest... I can't wait 2 check out track 8

Don't know much here but it looks like great accompaniment for w.a.n.k.e.r. time.
Wahey! Le Connection Francais a de retour...
Lob us a link, Cliff. Go to Rapidshare -- where for a mere 20 or so euros you could buy a premium account and make all your mixes available for ever -- result! Thanks to SammyG for this vital information. This mix has that essential look to it -- make it so!I don't mean to sound so pushy; or come across like Rapidshare's new French Account Manager -- It's merely that the process is cheap, and most rewarding, I believe.Incidentally, all these "wanker" references are making me nervous -- I hate it when things turn esoteric on me... All the best to you :)

Got to agree with Nomates. Need to hear this one.
will investigate. thanks for the heads up.
LOVE the BJM track and also dig the Ride, Minders and Circulatory System picks.
Whatever you were doing, it brought us all into a Higher State.
Lots I'm liking here and a few more to check out.
Love that Ride oldie... the rest is new to me, looks fab.
great to see you round these parts, cliff - this looks like something i'd really dig, & i adore the tracks i already know
Much of this is a mystery but I love that Orgone Box track. And Ride, all those times I saw them live...memories. The rest I shall investigate.
One of my favorite BJM tracks...like the Ride and Minders tracks too, and betting the rest is just as great.
Know the BJM and naught else, more explorations in store...
Tons to explore...hint. hint hint.
Great looking mix, Cliff. Love that particular Circulatory System song you have on this.
Don't know much here ('cept for Ride, the Minders and a couple others), but I bet it could make my head spin. Must investigate this Arnold fellow -- or is it the name of a band?
This looks fantastic from what I know - but I have to plead ignorance in a lot of cases! Excellent BJM and Ride picks, and I will definitely check out the Higher State release on your recommendation!
like many others here, this would be an introduction to lots of new groups for me. but Ride is one of my favorites, so we're off to a solid start.
