This is quite something - I really like your collection of men on the first side(Walker, Buckley, Hazlewood et al), and excellent Swans choice too!

When I grow up, I hope to make mixes that are 1/4 as good as t/o/r/n/a/d/o/Z!

Rick Springfield and Devendra Banhart on the same side, amazing. The Walker --> Buckley stretch is inspired. Nice Goats and Swans picks too.

Nice to see Rick Springfield holding his own in this flock. Speaking of birds, are those the Swans on the cover?

Wait a second... is this really tornadoZ or has someone invaded his body?! Oh wait, there's a Rick Springfield song here, so it must be him. ;-) Great work--love the Swans and This Mortal Coil (thanks, SQ) tracks especially.

Fine stuff, I like the sort of 'seriousness' of this, if you get what I mean.

As a lover of short songs I was somewhat irked that 16 minutes and 30 seconds in I was still only up to track 3, pah! Although I did like the Legrand. The Dev/Lee bit was great, and always love a bit of Scott. Side 2 was great, loved the Samantha & Mr Chan, along with the Goats, Swans and all other animals. The Five Letters track was my favourite on this one...

Swans followed by SPK, that might be hard work. Very interesting.

Great set, Alex. I really liked the opener on side one (obviously). Also dug that Annie Girardot and Nicole Croisille song. Really lovely.
