Comment:
This is my first post in around two years. I've been lurking around, trying to get inspired to create some mixes for a friend's birthday.I've been looking through all the 2:42 mixes and liking the idea of a bunch of songs that have nothing in common but their length-- but I wanted to try a number that had a little more meaning for me. So I chose my birthday. This is heavy on the acoustic/folk/alt country, probably because that's what much of my my tastes run toward. I've given up trying to have any bit of "coolness" to my music collection. :)
Feedback:
Early happy birthday, then. And some good stuf here. Love the Subdudes, Townes, Hiatt, Cracker, etc. I just narrowly avoided using Shelby Lynne's version of #17 on my traffic mix.
Late happy birthday from me. The Townes and cracker tunes are top notch regardless of length.
