Comment:
For my first venture in muxtape, I thought it appropriate to go with the closest I had in my library to music from 78s, at least the rusty ancient masters these were made from certainly sound like the real thing. Most are taken from a CD entitled "La canci=n popular en el cine mexicano, 1931-1940" basically from the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema and then a few tracks from the great Tapatfa Lucha Reyes, from her 15 Txitos package. The picture is one I took when we visited the original Guadalajara (MTxico), Nochistlßn, Zacatecas, I cropped out doowadette, though, to respect her privacy ;-)Feedback:
You know - I love Muxtape (thanks to Ed for introducing it to me). It's just a really simple way of discovering new music. Just listened to yours and immediately added it as one of my favourites. Some fine stuff on it, liked the Trfo Calaveras, Pedro Vargas and the last 2, but enjoyed it all really..
More education from the Doowad School. And now I want to check out Muxtape... but must not...!
Listened to this whilst cleaning the kitchen and I now have a desire for a large tequila.
Listened to this while doing some paperwork and now I can't stop rolling my R's.
ditto the rest - looks savory, derek, can't wait to listen
Another interesting mix. I know nothing here. Will crank this soon.
Very exotic. They just don't make canciones populares like they used to. I may use this as a road trip mix next time I drive from Teotihuacßn to Xochimilco.
Ay! Ay! Ay! Always la fiesta musical with doowad.
I'm totally clueless to anything here but will try it on for size.
I guess I should check out this muxtape... the mix looks quite fine.
Very cool.
