Comment:

I finally figured out how to save playlists on my piece-of-crap MP3 player late one night last month, and this is what I put together to help my restless mind get to sleep. It's got a few songs that I've used in mixes before (the ever-present "About Her", for example), but I guess that's to be expected, since I was going for songs that I thought would lull me off quickly.

The "Astral Observatory" track is what plays in the background in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (my favorite video game) when you're inside the astral observatory. It's an orchestral rendition I found on Soulseek. For all I know, some kid made up the name "Majora Philharmonic Sound Orchestra". Oh well.

Oh, and "Spirits (Having Flown)" is my favorite Bee Gees track. (And the Bee Gees were my first favorite group, at age six.)

Bee Gees and Rammstein on one mix. Higher authorities should be informed.

Ditto what KathrynandRupert said! Quite the radically eclectic gesture there, I must say. I salute you! :-)

Honestly, the only track I'm really familiar with is the Smashing Pumpkins' "To Forgive." That's quite a beauty!

Haha, when I read what KathrynandRupert said, I thought that if anyone had already put those two on a mix before, it would be you.

I'm quite taken with the Malcolm McClaren track, though I never would have guessed it was him singing/speaking when I first heard it.
