Comment:
Another rock genre intro for my cousin. I wanted to keep this focused on guitar-based bands and not have it devolve into ambient techno, as my psych mixes tend to do. I think it worked out pretty well. Also, I hope my cousin doesn't get turned off by the minute-and-a-half freak-out that ends "The Rider (Dolphin Song}."Feedback:
Needless to say, the 60s tunes look most nice to me, but I'd like to hear the rest.
Very interesting.
The ones I don't know here are in good company with the ones I do. Looks very cool.
Very nice. A few things here are unfamiliar to me; have to check 'em out. I tried a similar psychedelic primer a few years back, and we had some of the same ideas, yet executed quite differently.
Pretty sweet primer there, man. The good thing about psych mixes (to me, at least) is that there's so many different routes you can go with putting one together and they all generally sound pretty good. Dig the Clientele, AMT, Spacemen 3, Stereolab and MBV tracks a lot.
many interesting things here. 1-5 are classics, and i adore 8 and 14.
radical
fantastic.
Well done!
I love every song here.
So much to love. That Spacemen 3 double header is a mind blower.
I know what you mean about descending into ambient techno. This doesn't. VG.
