Quite often, when we abandon what is visible for the sake of what is uncertain, we do not get what we expected and sometimes lose what we had - an unfortunate enigmatic calamity. In a musical sense, you never know what to expect when buying tribute albums. Sure, you may know most if not all of the songs by the original artist, but how some other musician interprets these songs can be problematical, terrific, or simply ordinary note-by-note rehashing of the basic song. Nevertheless, tribute albums are a great way to bring recognition and some royalties to deserving musicians.

This compilation (not a continuous mix)contains tracks from several tribute albums along with a couple cuts from Knights of the Blues Table. Those songwriters used should be recognizable to everyone - Chuck Berry, The Grateful Dead, The Hollies, Gram Parsons. A few may be less apparent: Don Covay and Arthur Alexander.
