Comment:

Mr. TornadoZ is a mixer with whom I have a lot in common, though I think we have both added our individual stamps here. He didn't think we would make it to two disks, but when that Omar Izar wrapped things up so nicely on side 1 and we were already 2 or 3 deep into the second disk, we barreled on through.

Nice work, and exotic stuff. Was browsing thru to see what languages you have besides Spanish, but got stumped at "Drigi Drigi Mana Mou" - what is that?

Aahh. Two mixers who appear to have a never ending tap of great muisc to hand, and a great big well to keep it in. This is going to be a great listen, though I may have to wait to the weekend to indulge myself..

YIKES! I feel so out-of-place with these latin themed mixes. I always want to believe I know a bit about the music from the region but I really am only familiar with a small fraction of it. Always happy seeing mixes like these that rectify my ignorance. Great collaberation guys.

Epic mix guys! From ONJ to Bud Shank to Niza. No translation necessary!

had great fun trading songs back and forth, Derek. lots of great new songs for me, especially like Trfo Tarißcuri and CafT Tacvba tracks on side one (I even picked up their Tiempo Transcurrido CD just the other week, now that I finally realize I'm a fan) and Los Ases and Chavela Vargas (of course) tracks from side two. and that ONJ song has been stuck in my head ever since I picked it for the mix - but of course I'm not complaining... I'm just saying. oh, and "Drigi Drigi Mana Mou" looks like Greek to me. ;-)
