Comment:
Discs Three & Four of the Allstars mix. Once again, thanks to every one who contributed. I've had a great time with this, and put in quite a bit of effort in to it, which I hope is apparent. For more info on how this mix was arranged into the 4 separate discs, see the previous posting. This was done prior to a late but very welcome entry from Ruth, which left me with an odd number of tracks, so I requested a song from my lovely fiancT Vicki ( Josiejump ) to balance up the proceedings once again.I'm especially happy that some old friends have contributed The fact that mixers such as valis, Nest of Vipers, Little Spencer Boys, Siobhan and Dead Man post so infrequently nowadays ( if at all ) but still found time to submit a track delighted me. Maybe, just maybe, we haven't lost them forever :)
A few things I've learnt along the way. Joe Gillis isn't called Joe, James Phoenix isn't called James, and Avacado Rabbit, well, that's his real name. Can you believe it?
Anyway, that's enough from me. I'll hand over the baton. Who's next?
Disc Three Disc Four

Feedback:
I am chomping at the bit as I wait for the downloads to finish. With one choice track from each person, I can't imagine this being anything less that stellar. Thanks for the chance to participate, Sammy.
Nice pick from Josiejump, I'll be looking for her debut on here! Hope she gets on before your daughter anyway...
Happy to be on disk 3 with my daughter and some of the aforementioned old timers. Send me Art's email when you get a chance, the one I have is out of date. Congratulations on the 100!

Oh yeah, can't wait for this download. More great picks. Sam, thanks for doing this. Getting that new Quarter After album today too.
These are quite cool, and I'm assuming (since I recognize a shockingly small proportion of the stongs) far more varied than your typical mix. Thanks for the invite; I was out of town for the week and mixxed the opportunity to contribute, but looks like you had no shortage of participation.

Ah, the plan executed & revealed. All 4 discs look terrific, Sam. Thanks for including me on the AotM chain-gang (oof, ahh).
second part looks just as wonderful as the first, glad to see so many old timers popping up for the occasion - i think a standing ovation is in order for mr. sammy, no?
Super cool idea, executed with apparent ease and aplomb (though it certainly had to chew up a bunch of time). Congrats!
great selections
Standing and ovating! Fantastic job Sammy. Can't wait to give this comp of the best mixers on the world wide webs a listen. I'm humbled by the inclusion. Thanks for that. Happy 100th Sammy.
Finally! How I've waited! I agree with anthony about the ovation. I'm very happy to be included in such fine company, and looking forward to listening, as I know only my own contribution. (How ignorant am I?)
Ugghh. Who picked this crap!? I mean, just gawd awful... ;)
Outstanding.
This one is stellar as well. Congrats on the 100th mix!!
Man oh man, Sammy, these look absolutely GREAT! So sorry I missed getting my track in to help out. Looks like you had plenty of help, though. ;-) Definitely count me in for next go-round. Hopefully, I won't be struggling with any tick-borne viruses by then.
Just to add to the comment on the previous mix, happy 100-th to you, and many thanks (from all of us) for all the good vibes you have brought to the site.
I'm thinking they like it, Sam. Fantastic work (as always!). I can't wait for the next hundred!
Ah, to be continued, hopefully forever. Grand combo on both discs...
Holy.
Crap.
The scope and quality is just... flabbergasting. Highest kudos, Sam. Wow!

Astonishing. AOTM'ers take a bow. Well done Sammy and thanks for including us.
Thanks for doing this, Sam, thanks for including me, and happy 100th. I'm going to try to get all of these downloaded before I leave for work today. :-)
Outstanding - and my most favourite ever, ever, ever Nest of Vipers has made a return. How very f*cking cool is that! Thanks Sammy for a great job.
More tremendous work. Well done Sammy!
This is such a treat! Thank you Sam for making this possible. It's great to see so many mixers united for one big project, including so mixers who haven't posted here in a long time. A real AotM block party.
More wonderfullness! You rock Sammy!
どうも ありがとう ございました indeed! Can't think of a better way to commemorate your 100th posting by sharing the spotlight with the AOTM community. Pleased to see both old and new mixers represented --- heck, you even got Valis to come out of retirement temporarily. Not sure which disc to DL first, as they all look great. So has your e-mail service crashed with so many "new comment(s) about your mix"? ;) BTW, it's an honor to be "crunched" between you and Skipper.
...and it just gets better & better!
Quite an undertaking, Sammy, and you have completed it with aplomb. This is the one time I don't adhere to the Groucho Marx philosophy of not wanting to be a member of any club that would have me.

FOUR discs of assorted sordid goodies! & in spite of your careful randomizing, I could swear I'm hearing some artful segues - some people just have the Midas touch, I guess.
Thanks for doing this.
Thanks for doing this.
Happy Pt.2!!!Sorry I missed the party.
Neatorino!
I had no idea this was already completed. Just the thing I would love to do next or after the next.
Glad you got the track. Well done, sam-son.

listened to these parts a while back, but finally getting around to letting you know how nice it all was. everything Orchid touches turns to Goldfinger, so of course "20th Century Steel Band" was a favorite, as were picks by joey de vivre, arktical and that pretty song submitted by Joe Gillis1. the abangaku award for most original submission goes to Rob Conroy on this set. lots of favorites on disc 4 - including those by Bear (I've been listening/loving that No Age CD lately), strange loop, Rebel Princess, Moe, SteveRaglin (seems I have a soft spot for After 7), Nomates and avocado rabbit... but I think Funky Ratchet's pick is my favorite. I agree with the others; it's good to see some of the MIA mixers on here, as well as quite a few new mixers contributing to the AllStars series.
Ah! I was not even aware that these mixes had been posted! I was out in Barcelona at Primavera at the time. Can't wait to download and get stuck in. May I add that it was also an honour to be included. Thanks and keep up the good work!
And side Four is really, really brilliant.
