(Sometimes I Feel Like I'm Made of Old Broken Dreams) That Someone Strung Together
Comment:
This is more of a countrified jazz mix, I suppose, but instrumental nonetheless with plenty of strings from guitars to mandolins to violins, dobros and what have you. It's just music. One of my Tai Chi students is a bluegrass/new grass player, and recently I went to a small local festival where his band was appearing. The nice thing about it is that the musicians played more than just a variety of fiddle tunes at warp speed. It even had a kind of mellow, Appalachia feel to it and put a nice period on a pleasant week.
I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls off a string. It lends one time for reflection.
Now, on to the quiz. Tennessee is home to a renowned summer fiddle camp. Which musician is its host? A copy of the mix awaits the one with the answer.

GD!!!! This is another stellar installment. Inspiring, educational, enlightening and entertaining as usual.
I absolutely adore the title! As I know nothing of the contents, I have no idea whether it's good or not, but I'm sure it is, as your mixes usually are.
mark o'connor has a renowned fiddle camp in tennessee.

Vassar Clements and the closer are my highlights, along with the title and artwork as per usual. Looking forward to the download!
Splendid mix, and a charming quotation from Anne of Avonlea.

freemethodist has the correct answer. Sorry about mixing up the links, gang. I'll rectify that goof up when I return home this evening.
Oh man, I can not wait to give this a listen tomorrow at work. Jazz on Fridays is always a good way to start a weekend...
What little I know, I like. I look forward to a nice listen!
absolutely love the closer.
Love the Bela Fleck and Atkins / Knopfler tracks. More to discover here.
Such a sad title for such a happy playlist! You never let us down.
What little I know makes the rest look very promising. Love the cover art too...
