A Touch of Soul
Comment:
I like it to think of 'soul' as an umbrella term that covers a multitude of genres, representing a shared quality among certain songs, be they gently soothing or downright funky, that strike a chord with us. This is a collection of songs that fit that description, put in a cohesive sequence and guaranteed to fit neatly on a blank CD. Thanks to musicgnome and sammyg123 for your respective inspiration.
Feedback:
Love this. I like your notes. And I think the Wild Magnolias are underrated. Glad to see them.
So much good stuff on here. Few things get me going like "Gimme Some Lovin'", and I love the cover, it's reallly beautiful.
Yes, lovely cover. And the content is just perfect. My kind of mix. The prospect of staying in on a Saturday night just got a bit, well a lot more bearable. This'll be comin' outta my speakers later on..
This looks terrific. I especially like tracks 4-9.
This appears to be certifiably "killer". Nicely done, indeed.
Soul, schmoul. Dis is tasty!
I know you got soul, if you didn't you wouldn't be in here. Lovely cover too!
...and here's the first. the opening trio really kicked this one into gear, and I especially loved that Wendy Rene song. ditto on this one concerning cover art.
