Comment:

(For the record: I used to appear around here as someone else, but I needed a name change. Under that previous name, I created the counterparts to this mix. If you'd like to see them, drop me a line and I'll oblige.)

About the mix: Because summertime in the South calls for Jazz. It sounds better at night, with just a porch light on so you can see while you sit in the dark having a low toned conversation or pondering whatever mystery haunts you...Jazz in the summer is also slow dancing and singing along. You never know when the moment will strike you. It's about love and romance and breakups and heartbreak. It can mean heart break or a new love. It always means late nights and cigarettes. Jazz just feels like summer. Summer in the South can be magical.

As always, it can be downloaded from the link.

Sweet tea under the live oak trees with the Gulf sea breeze: lazy summer memories. Just a perfect music mix!

I love my alt rock and indie pop, but sometimes... ahh, nothin' like a great jazz tune or two to whittle the night away. Looks fantastic - downloading now.
