Just a Bum
Comment:
Tex Hobart and doowad have been sharing mixes back and forth here and there, Tex said he had a few ramblin' songs just layin' around that he wanted to throw on a mix. So, this is not necessarily about bein' a hobo, but it mostly is.
Feedback:
Top-notch, guys! I'll be giving this a listen as I toss my knapsack over my shoulder.
Artwork and original concept by Tex. I just tagged along with the evens, but you knew that without me telling you.
Looks awesome. I've always liked hobos.
this makes me want to not shave or shower for a week - mission accomplished, i'd say
Looks great guys. You put those hobo and ramblin' songs to good use. It's a shame you can show me yours but I can't show you mine :(
Having called myself an itinerant loafer this mix should appeal.....and I'm sure it would if I knew more of it.
Great job, guys! Can't wait to give this a listen. And, thankfully, this page isn't infected like the preceding two are. Threatfire and AVG seem to be protecting me from the dolts who have chosen to infect this incredible site.
Great Picks Doowad!
i've been thinking about a rambling mix myself. i'm glad you saved me a couple. great job!
I especially love the Beefheart & Mississippi John tracks.
Had to leave a comment although my computer is wrapped in protective clothing when visiting aotm. Nicely done, fellas. The only thing missing is Mary Gauthier's great song about Boxcar Willie on her latest album.
this whole hobo business is something i should look into. i'll listen to this on an empty stomach for effect. cheers.
Hallelujah, I'm a bum!
You're Kings of the Road, guys!
you know, I've always been extremely attracted to hobos, not sure why. guess that makes me a.... hobosexual.anyway. listened to this last week, but had trouble finding it again to comment w/ the site gone all haywire there for a while. really liked the Beefheart to John Prine section and that great Charlie Poole & the North Carolina Ramblers tune. nice work, ramblers.
