Comment:
This mix was named in honour of my hard drive which died on me this month (for the record, when a hard drive starts "clicking" - it's time to panic). As usual it's a collection of what I'm listening to lately, which seems to be a lot of white boy rock. Oh, and the inclusion of the Electric Six and Matt Costa tracks show that the latest batch of car ads are *clearly* working on me...now if only they could persuade me to buy a car. Seriously...clicking hard drive...not good! Cheers! -FamousFeedback:
hope you had a backup plan !
At first we thought we didn't, and were staring down the barrel of a $1200 recovery of some invoicing records.
Fortunately some digging through a large stack of burned DVDs provided some back-ups we'd forgotten we'd burned.
Score!

Ah, I know the horror of dying hardrives (although I was fortunate enough to have mine survive until I bought a new one). It's always great to see a playlist where you know of the artists, and yeah, I listen mostly to white boy rock too...
I always live in fear of a crash one day. There's not enough hard drive space in the town I live to back up everything.
some great tunes here - the elvis costello, LSP, bruce, stones, she & him & pixies among my favorites
Early Pixies, that's what I like to see.
Good mix. I never had a hard drive go belly up, yet. (Knock on wood) I burn all my files on a CDR. And, I have all my mp3's on an external book drive, in case the hard drive buys it.
My favorite Keith Richards song, and for backup, I can't recommend enough two externals and regular DVD backups...
