After I discovered real music in '87 (via my brother's copy of The Cure's Standing on a Beach), I began a religious devotion to KROQ and 120 Minutes (and, to a lesser extent, Video 1). "Scotty's Lament" is one of the first songs I remember falling for on 120 Minutes, and my older brother quickly got on board too. I'm looking forward to sharing this mix with him, as we rarely see eye-to-eye on music these days.
