Comment:
It's only been a month since I last posted a mix, but to me it feels longer. The AotM abstinence was doing my head in, and I couldn't wait much longer else I surely would've burst. So here's a brand new `un. And once again I'm proud to say I squeezed 30 tracks onto a blank disc. Short is sweet I say. Thanks to Valis for tk 4, Pop Kulcher for gently persuding me to go seek out the fab Reivers album. Download here , your new favourite song is on there. Don't know which one, but it's one of them.

Feedback:
just what the doctor ordered - good thing, i was going through sammy withdrawals. i'm sure i'll have a rough time picking my new favorite song from this bunch...
I'm with you on the mix-making withdrawl. All this virus baloney is seriously driving me nuts! But it looks like all your pent-up energy focused into a superb mix, man.
Okay, Mr. Trumpet, what' so funny?
Nothing. Why?
You're laughing at me.
Not at you. Not at all.
Then what.
Your new favorite song is in the mix. Can you hear it?
You mean Edwin Moses?
No, that's your old favorite song.
What makes you so sure?
Cause whichever one you pick, I'll trump it.

I'm listening now - it IS certainly difficult to pick a favorite...this mix is majestic.
I know hardly anything on here, but I do know no. 12 and I LOVE it. Would expect nothing else from you, of course. Has it really been a month? Wow.
I'll have to listen to find out what my new favorite song is. And to think that I thought it was Nick Lowe's "The Beast in Me"....
Certainly plenty of potential new faves to choose from. Looking forward to listening....
Yep, looking forward to this!
Ahhhh....I so needed this.
Four of my new favorite songs are at #s 3, 4, 5 & 6. holy cow, what a terrific run! [my mom used to sing the "Mocking Bird" song as she rocked me to sleep when I was a wee little tot.... but she didn't sing it like this, of course.] also loved the Acid House Kings, From Bubblegum To Sky, that weird Dictionaraoke song and the Caravelles "The Other Side of Love." so singable! it's refreshing to hear another sammyg mix. guess I'd been going through withdrawals as well.
Wow! I'm not sure if I can wait for you to send me a copy, so I might say a prayer to the Internet gods and try to download tonight. Really looking forward to hearing my next favorite song. Some favorites I already know: the Clean, the Duke boys, Caravelles, Souvenir, Tomorrow's World and a few others. Interesting artwork -- a 50-foot-tall Marilyn, a rainbow, a windmill, a flying plesiosaur... what does it all mean? Looks like a case for HR Pufnstuf -- he's your friend when things get... what's the word I'm looking for? Oh yes, complicated.
Even when you are not posting mixes, it seems like you are still "here" on the site. Looking forward to listening to this.
The Internet gods must have been smiling on me, as all 92.9mb of this mix successfully made it to my hard drive last night. On the list of favorites for my new favorite song are Little Jackie, Losfeld, Mantecao Y Su Combo De Rumba Moderna and Tomorrow's World (which I had assumed I had heard before). Everything else was favorite-worthy too! And that Dictionaraoke track is almost as good as the original.
Hey, great job!
And I must admit track 17 was not on my files. ;-)

Eu sei qual T meu favorito...
Way to go, Sam...Now I'm gonna have to keep track of a whole bunch of "new favorite songs"...
Thanks for the effort, as always!
Liverpool, where they're playing The Open this weekend, looks mighty ferocious, and that's only the weather! Wow...

Ooooh, that's the stuff!
Bugs have bugged off and at last I can discover my new favourite song (I was getting tired of Amory Building by the Scabs). Plenty here I don't know but I'm sure it'll be excellent as ever.
Looks great Sam and really nice artwork too.
Just getting around to this now Sam and already after 6 tracks I can only compare it to listening to the best radio station in the world ever. Ridiculously good. Love that intro, I shall return with my new favourite song later mate.
My new favourite song just might be 24 or maybe 20. Love it.
I've had this mix on repeat for the last few days in the car. Really nice stuff. I love the rabbi beatnik song and there's one that sounds like they're saying Heath Ledger? I'll have to investigate.
