A bunch of songs with colours in the title. Holds together rather nicely, despite the range of age and styles between songs. The Gonn track is a bit of a cheat, I know, and so is the Hendrix one, but it gets in on account of two things: 1) an alternate title, according to the biography of Hendrix by Messrs Glebbeek and Shapiro, is "Gold And Rose", and 2) it has more actual lyrical references to colours than any of the other songs. And the "BBC version" of the Crimson tune is the one recorded for a BBC live session and released on the "Epitaph" compilation of live recordings by the 1969 version of the band.Feedback:
