I made this mix for my best friend (who lives 3000 miles away) for Christmas, and ended up not shipping her package until July. At which point I made her a new mix. So this is part one.

Much here I don't know, but what I do know here is top notch: the Left Banke song is, of course, one of the more beautiful pop songs of the 60s, and always nice to see Beulah, Aislers Set, Softies, Apples... and, of course, that April March song is just dynamite.

What an excellent Heavenly track. I'm seconding Pop Kulcher's choices and also loving that Black Tambourine track to the max.

I don't know many of these songs, but Simon & Garfunkel's "Hazy Shade of Winter" is a great tune to close out the mix.
