a christmas gift for my best friend, whom i haven't seen in forever -- seeing as how she lives in boston and i live in honolulu. she's introduced me to some of my favorite artists over the years, so this mix is an attempt to return the favor, and to share a few new or lesser-heard tunes by some old favorites. it's a mellow, sort of homesick mix.
