Comment:

40 minutes. for someone incredibly dear to me. a somewhat eclectic mix of songs that make me think of him, inspired by an email he once wrote quoting the weakerthans "i know you might roll your eyes at this, but i'm so glad that you exist" - well the feeling is mutual. this mix is chock full of lines that remind me of him. he has been a constant over the years, starting half a decade ago when we were strangers commenting on one another's mixes up to when we began trading mixes and mailing one another packages and into the present. today we fill up computer screens with words, constructing introspective and sometimes miserable emails to one another, verbalizing the pain, suffering and angst that comes with being 20-somethings who simply love too much. he is the one i turn to in times of sadness, when i'm drunk and can't think of who to call, when i just need an ear to listen to me. i've told him time and time again how much i adore him, but i never think it's enough for him to understand what he has come to mean to me. however that's okay, because words aside, i know he simply just knows. all my love on your 27th birthday kid. i'm so glad that you exist.

I only know a couple of songs on here, but I'm sure it's all great. That seems like one great frie.nd to have, and I'm sure you're just as good to him!
