31. The Brian Jonestown Massacre - "It Girl" 32. The Rolling Stones - "Shake Your Hips" 33. John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers - "Another Man"

I know there are lots of repeated artists, but this mix holds personal significance. I made it at the be*ginning of June for use on the road trip that my boyfrie*nd and I took to the American Southwest at the be*ginning of the summer. We met up with the old route 66 (now just called "The Historic Route 66") and that was the to be the centerpoint of our trip, so "Route 66" is a highly significant song on the mix. I chose the Replacements' verson since we recently moved to Minnesota, home of the Replacements. Johnny Cash sounded perfect traveling through the good ol' Southwest and the Brightblack Morning Light songs fit in perfectly with the look and feel of the desert. "Lift My Jug (Song for Hub Cale)" fit in perfectly while visiting old railroad towns like Kingman, AZ and following the train tracks on parts of route 66. Some of the key places we visited were the Grand Canyon, White Sands, Arches National Park, Denver & the Rocky Mountains, Very Large Array, Mohave Desert, various ghost towns, random oddities in northern Texas, and many others. Anyway, it was an amazing time and I thought I would share the mix of tunes with you. (By the way.. does anyone else get annoyed with the word editing policy on this site these days? Nonsensical.)

Lots to like on this, and several I'm not familiar with. But you can't go wrong with a mix that includes Koko. Good job.
