Comment:
As the title itself says, this is not a mix. What is it, you may ask? Well, it's a list, basically! It's a list of the first 30 (so far) CD's which, for all intents and purposes, I've used up all the songs for. And one of my hard-and-fast rules is that I never use a song by the same artist more than once in any of my mixes. (On the other hand, I will use the same song if it's performed by a different artist - although I'm still on the fence when it comes to al-ternate takes!)Why am I even bothering to list this at all? I don't know, really...I just thought that some people might find it interesting. And for me, it's just a convenient way of tallying up and cataloguing all my "eliminations".
(P.S. In order to properly qualify as an "elmination," one needs only to use up all of the songs from an original album release. One doesn't necessarily have to include each and every bonus track from re-mastered versions and re-releases - although that's certainly an option if so desired! :-))
Feedback:
I try to avoid, and fail in the usage of a track in more than one mix. Personally I find that certain tracks almost demand to be used again and again, and are often a springboard for new mixes... I like this non-mix, btw, and the reasons behind it.
