Comment:
Today's "eliminations":Metallica - ...And Justice For All (1980) (#114 - 9/29/08)
Yes - The Yes Album (1971) (#114 - 9/29/08)
Led Zeppelin - Houses Of The Holy (1973) (#114 - 9/29/08)
(Actually, I thought that I had eliminated Houses Of The Holy a while back, but I had forgotten about D'yer Mak'er! :-))
Movin' On - Never actually officially released on a Mott The Hoople album until the 1998 box set, but yes, this is the same song as the one that appeared on the first Bad Company album! Actually a demo, with Mick Ralphs on vocals, the tempo's just a tad brisker and the song has a poppier feel to it than the later Badco. version.
Heaven And Hell (X 2) - Well, hey! Something like this was just bound to happen sooner or later! (Ha, ha, ha!)
Feedback:
A Saucerful of Secrets is a really underrated album....and everything else here looks great too.
