I'm getting on the pre-millennial bandwagon with this one. I decided to make a tape with the theme of the tension, anticipation, disappointment and excitement all inherent in living in these times. This is said with the realization that it's only the turn of the millennium to the portion of the population that uses the Western calendar and that most of the world could give a rat's ass. This is also said keeping in mind the fact that the millennium doesn't technically turn until 2001. Who cares. Calendars are fun and so is watching people get nutty. Here's to hype and apprehension! That, and the fact that I must be living under a rock somewhere because before I made this CD, I hadn't heard The Artist's "1999" at all this year. Sheesh.
