Comment:

For the hell of it. Sort of related to my mix from earlier this week, in that I was putting it together more or less simultaneously but didn't think it worked as a "Disc 2" for that mix. Again, thanks to Rosie, this time for the Nouvelle Vague track. Title by the Crystal Stilts (whose new album, Alight of Night, is an absolutely must-check-out proposition).

I'm hooked at track 1, and the follow-up seals the deal. This is one of my favorites of yours, as I look more cl osely.

Yep, been listening a lot to those Replacements reissues myself, and have a new 2-cd Mats mix already burned and ready for posting here. The Stone Roses track is my personal fave from this mix.

dunno how you bang these out so consistently without a misstep, but this is another absolutely knock-out fantastic one - 2, 3, 7, 9, 12, 13, 15-18 all look like real winners - i'd love a copy of this, if possible

This is the business right here, my fri3nd. As always, consistently great all the way through. Love that Nouvelle Vague, Springsteen (I just tracked down the Nebraska sessions not too long ago), Can, Beatles and I've been listening a LOT to those Replacements Sire reissues of late, myself. Stellar.

Well, crap on a stick does this look great or what?!? I just recently rediscovered Nouvelle Vague, and #12 is an absolute classic... but the whole thing together looks amazing.

Love the starter. My uncle once auditioned for Brubeck's band but didn't get the gig.
