Comment:
This mix was the creation of a collaborative effort by doowad, avocado rabbit, RetroJoe, G-Sphere & tornadoZ, forming a Political Roundta ble. Each member was responsible for four songs per disk. And while we wear our political affiliation on our sleeves, the most important thing you can do is vote on Tuesday. Here are questions for two of you to win a copy of the mix with excellent cover art by the incomparable Mr. Rabbit.
#1 Guess which mixer or mixers submitted the first track on each disc.
#2 Guess which mixer or mixers submitted the last track on each disc. Hint: We were a little creative in our sequencing so the same 1-2-3-4-5 was not necessarily respected throughout each disc.

Feedback:
Too tempting to resist guessing!
Disk 1, track 1, Doowad,
Disk 2, track 1, RetroJoe.
Disk 1, track 20, Avocado Rabbit.
Disk 2, track 20, Doowad.
Whatever the answers are, you all made an eminently elect-able mix.
How about MotW for this?

Is there really a choice?, I'm a Swede you know and find it hard to see a point with McCain, but what do I know
What, no Dixie Chicks? How am I supposed to guess where youstand politically? I have nooo idea... I know a few songs that would fit well in here though.
Here are both my contributions to this mix, because this is a democracy and I deserve a vote, right? Heh heh heh...
Over the Rhine - If A Song Could Be President
and
Randy Newman - Political Science
Anyway, great job, fellows. Very cool and pointy mix!

Closing with "Chocolate Jesus" is brilliant, this sort of blew my mind. Good lord.
If it really is my constitutional right to suggest additional songs (it says so in the previous comment, so it must be true): "Failed Christian" by Nick Lowe.
I pull the lever for five stars to this mix.

Simply fantastic, guys! And yeah, what Yaminon said, re: Chocolate Jesus.
if this doesn't inspire you to go out & vote, i dunno what will
Congrats to all contributors on this fabulous concoction.
Just listened to an hour long Election news special on BBC Radio. I imagine it's a very exciting day in the US of A. And this is a very exciting mix. MotW hands down..
kewl, VOTA POR DOOWAD!!!!!
that was from doowadette FYI, im just to lazy to log u out! rar
People have the power!that is a great song, man!
I live in Indiana, and we were one of the two states to watch to get a feel for which direction the rest of the nation was about to go... and then we weren't, and the count was close. Recently, a McCain supporter was interviewed in our local (South B3nd Tribune) paper, and he said that while this was not his choice, he will support our new president fully. Hopefully, we will see more of that.
Mix of the week right here. Appropriately joyous and enlightened.
This a fantastic compilation...Thanks to every one of you for making this so good...Bravo!
