Baby, Show Me The Way
Comment:
This mix has absolutely nothing to do with Peter Frampton or Sarah Palin. What it is about is having a baby, inspired when my son called me one night to say his girlfrie nd had "a bun in the oven." Not all the songs are obvious references to newborns or giving birth or fatherhood. A couple get into the process of making a baby, perhaps unconsciously. And there are ideas about getting one's act together in anticipation of becoming a parent.I should mention that my son and his girlfrie nd did indeed "make it official," and are now the parents of a 10-month old daughter. All are doing fine. I hope little Anna likes alt-country like her grandfather.
The Quiz: Which of the singers in the mix once had a fling with Elvis Presley? A copy of the mix, tracked and with artwork awaits the first correct answer.
*** To successfully download the mix you'll have to remove the underscore in the file name between the letters "r" and "o." This is a new file-sharing service I found that is very easy to use, but I didn't figure on there being an aotm bad word conflict in the name.
Feedback:
wanda jacksonnnn - also, a grandfather! dang, no i feel even younger, haha. this mix is a very nice sentiment.
Very nice, I used to sing my own version of Beautiful "girl" to doowadette when she was just a wee one. The whole mix is stellar, really, congratulations.
Congratulations! What a worthy reason to make a mix! And what a mix it is.
Wanda Jackson and Elvis Presley? Seriously?!? Does that mean he got his idea of glitzy costumes from her?

Sounds great. Congrats.
natalyesaurus has the winning answer. Pretty good for a young woman.
So it's Grandpa Rabbit now, huh? Congratulations! Mix looks great, I'm sure little Anna will appreciate it when she's old enough to, you know, appretiate other things than eating, sleeping and chewing on things.
Beautiful! Track 2 is a marriage classic.
Very sweet, like something I'd make for my own daughters. Cheers!
Nice one pappy lapin.
My marriage started in much the same way. This is one great mix...and a belated congrats, gramps!
Track 2 -one of the best song titles ever. Looks like a fine mix, Dean.
