Comment:

A triple-elimination this time, folks!:
90. The Doors - The Doors (1967)
91. The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground & Nico (1967)
92. Soundgarden - Down On The Upside (1996)

Michelle - I would very much like to warmly and sincerely dedicate this bilingual Beatles hit to the new First Lady of the United States of America! :-)

I Looked At You < There She Goes Again - As you can see from my above comment, I was able to kil-l two birds with one stone here, namely The Doors and The Velvet Underground & Nico!

Dog Eat Dog < The Zoo - I wasn't originally planning on putting these two back to back, but it sure seems a pretty damned obvious move in retrospect! :-)

Ballad Of A Thin Man - On a previous mix, I had used the cover version by Stephen Malkmus & The Million Dollar Bashers, from the I'm Not There soundtrack. But until now I haven't used the classic Highway 61 Revisited original! Actually, it was always my intention to conclude Disc #1 with the Scorpions' The Zoo and this song. Why those two? Frankly, I don't really know. All I can say is that it seemed the logical thing to do!
