It's high time I get this one off my chest.Yes, that says "Def Leppard." Toward the e_nd of the summer, I was driving in my car, flipping up and down the dial, and I caught the middle portion of the first track listed above and thought, "Gee, that song's not half bad. It's got a little bit of punch to it." Then, as it reached the chorus, I heard a familiar swell of "yeah's" in the background vocals and thought, "Heyyy, wait a minute. That sounds like."And the DJ soon confirmed my suspicions.So, really, what better way to allay some of my sheepishness over sorta digging the new Def Leppard single than to (attempt to) work it into a mix? Admittedly, after hearing the song several times in its entirety since then, my opinion on it has cooled considerably, but I still think it fits pretty well with the punch and bombast of the rest of the tracks here. But if you can't get on board with the Def Leppard, hopefully you'll find some others in there that you fancy. Title also provided by Mr. Joe Elliot and co.Pour some sugar on it.
