This one is called dead saints because I was in Corfu, a Greek island, for the Greek Orthodox Easter. In the morning, the town gathers in the square for a massive parade filled with pontiffs and school children, and was pretty monotonous until its finish, when the mummified body of Corfu's patron saint, St. Spyridon is paraded for all to see. . .

Then the people in the houses up around the parade route threw water-filled clay pots out their windows, breaking them on the streets below for good luck. People on the streets scrambled for bits of these pots, to keep all year, for good luck.

It was pretty neat, considering I was still up from working at the club the night before. . .
