Comment:
My second-to-most recent (the most recent has yet to acquire a title, so it's not posted yet) FtHoI mix. Most of you who care already know about this one, but the completist/obsessive in me wanted a record of it here. Thanks again to Jenergy for referencing the ope ning track and thus inspiring its inclusion, to p the swede for the Dicks track, and to Shawn Porter for referencing the Black Mountain Tune and inspiring its inclusion. Title by Mr. Darnielle, as they so often are.Feedback:
excellent
A buffet of audio delights!
I am one of those who care, especially with the Replacements, Paul Butterfield and Yardbirds into Bad Brains. Another great one, Rob.
Easter bunny? Have you looked at cal- en-dar lately, Rob? Not much I know here, except for the discofied op-ener, the girl groupie Crystals, the drunken Mats and the twee B. Tambourine. But you know I've grown to trust your taste, so I'm sure the rest will satisfy my listening needs. Now where is that bunny wabbit?
looking forward to this one. been pretty disorganized lately, but was able to dig up that DL... and it hasn't expired! still as fresh as a brand new gallon of milk, in fact. will report back after the listen. -tornado "Boogie Oogie Oogie" Z

loved The Budos Band, Black Tambourine, Portishead and Crystal Stilts songs the best. found The Crystals track a bit scary (in a my-fridnd-volunteers-at-the-women's-shelter kina way) and found that Brian Eno track alarming! great mix, or, to quote several of my fellow mixers: "nice."
Haha, I feel the same way as Alex below me about that particular Crystals tune. Still a favourite of mine from them and Mr. Spector.
Anyway, Rob, I listened to this a while back and haven't strayed away from it yet! So good. The opdning three is in-your-face. That 6 to 9 stretch is absolutely knller. And anything with the track "Hate the Police" is aces in my book. Great mix!

Bonus points for the Dicks.
