This was my entry to a New YearG_Ts mix-off challenge. When I first heard of it, the first line of the first song popped into my head and the rest of the mix pretty much flowed from there.

When I first saw/heard this, I thought it was a winner, and nothing has changed since. I'm a huge Bobby "Blue" Bland fan by the way. Back in the day when I worked in record stores, he made an appearance and blew everyone away with his just his voice and a piano.

When I look at this it seems like the soundtrack to a New Year's party theme "days gone by" (okay, maybe not the White Stripes), which would be SO cool it that was the idea. I'm sure it's not, but I keep picturing Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn...
