A follow-up of sorts to an older mix of mine, we are all dying of consumption (the city sins). It came out a bit more conceptually scattershot than I'd expected, but I'm pretty pleased with the set and sequence of tracks. Thanks to Rob Conroy for the Buck 65 track and for turning me on to Gil Scott-Heron.Feedback:
Liking the National and Sleater-Kinney cozied up together. Aesop is a scattershot lyricist. Also cool to see Portland, Oregon's own Viva Voce starting off a mix. Cheers.
The modern world has its plus and its minus, but having mixes like these and others here to listen to is a big plus.
