Comment:

If you haven't tried it, you don't know what you're missing. Your baby's gone? Just order some Chinese take-out (delivery preferred) and put on some Lightnin' Hopkins. Drunken noodles with salt & pepper shrimp. Yum! Actually, I heard the title as a lyric in Kate Jacobs' song, and it seemed so right.

Quiz There aren't many recording artists from Prince Edward Island, but this mix has a track from one of them. Name that musician for a copy of the mix.

Another Fine mix, love the ope_ner Belle and of course the Chills.. and I think the answer to this would be Tara MacLean and unfortunatly thats the only song I know of her work.. What ever happened to her?

She's probably on the coast of PEI writing songs. Wavy Gravy has the quiz right.

This mix looks much more filling than Chinese food. However, just like I do with the water chestnuts, I might choose to pick out the Phil Collins. Great Elliott Smith track, and always glad to see the Soundtrack of Our Lives, and Tara MacLean too!

Very interesting mix.
Thank you for showing me how to put pictures somewhere else and show them at AotM.
By the way, Tara MacLean is the right answer, congrats Wavy Gravy.

Where's the Lightnin'? I do like the Bjork and the BoDeans and the title looks familiar to another that is near and dear to my heart...

I do remember Doowadette's kung pao mix. As for Lightnin', well I just plain forgot to include one from him. I must have been stuck doing dishes.

re:Phill Collins. Sorry, y'all, but there are handful of songs by him that I like. What can I say? Perhaps my taste buds have been burnt out by hot & spicy food.

I worked at a little Chinese restaurant called Chop Suey Luey's when I was a student in Salt Lake City years ago. I love the chicken w/ snow peas. lots of great stuff on this party platter-like Fairport Convention, Sparks and the pretty tracks by Emiliana Torrini, Judith Edelman and Bjork. bon appetit!
