Comment:

I have made over 50 mixes to listen to while I am driving my car, usually to college. This is my first volume of songs to drive to. There is a method to my madness. The first songs are all fast, heavy rock/metal songs. 20 minutes into the mix I usually put a "welcoming" song to welcome me to the city I go to school in. After this, I have a few rap songs play. Rap is perfect while driving in a city. After that I usually put punk and hardcore songs (though not on this mix). The last songs are usually ballads, soft, and long songs. If I look at it another way, I'm really making a perfect cd: it starts well, it has a good middle, and finishes appropriately (goes out with a bang). "Black Sunshine" is a great starter and I think it's about some evil car. "Fuel" is one of my most absolute songs to drive to: it's fast, it mentions car stuff (gasoline, driving fast etc.), and it fucking ROCKS. Before I hit the highway to school, I placed this Judas Priest nugget conveniently. "I Can't Drive 55" is good for highway driving. While driving to college, there is a bridge. "Under The Bridge" is perfect. "Got The Life" is awesome to drive to- it's got a good chorus and it rocks. Also, the music video has a really dope car that the members drive. "Drive My Car" is great- it features one of the best bands of all time and it has car references in the lyrics. I would go onto make more than 50 of these, so this is just the first one. I was just getting my feet wet. Driving is a whole lot better when you have a kick ass soundtrack.

Damn. How's your driving record, G? This is ballsy as hell. I should drive driving to this music sometime for a change - instead of Cannonball Adderly.
