Comment:

They say 3rd time's a ch-arm. I wouldn't necessarily apply this theory to this mix, but it comes close. This is a very listenable comp. As I start the engines in the morning, with tired eyes, I hear "Start Me Up" by the Stones. A car horn sample was used famously in "Running With The Devil". It's a badass song. "I Need Speed" is damn appropriate, which sorta deals with drag racing. As I start to drive to school, I hear "Back To School" by Sacramento's finest. "Breakdown" by Tantric is a great, great song I think. It's underrated. "Bawitdaba" should have been on earlier in this mix because it's a dynamite rocker, it bleeds rock and roll. "Born To Be Wild" was in the movie Easy Rider. This is a very good song to drive to. It reminds me of motorcycles of course, even through a drive a normal car. "Free Bird" is a song that I didn't personally enjoy until it make the cut for one of the Guitar Hero games. I have a much better respect for the song. It's just a really well built song. It's great to drive too. When I drive, I feel free and in control. It's perfect for a long road trip as well. That said, I'm not a big Skynard fan, save for this one song. Speed, wildness, and freedom. Driving.
