Stop the presses! Yes, I do USED TO make mix cassettes. Wow, I haven't heard this mix in a very long time. For whatever reason, there is two different titles- one for side A and one for side B. Side A is simply titled, "Hard Rock Songs Mix" Well when I was a teenager, this was hard! I kicked things off with some Slipknot. Pretty much these are all nu metal bands. I'm seeing Disturbed in April. I still like most of these songs. That Snot song "Absent" is excellent, I highly suggest you listen to it, for you newbies. Side B is curiously titled "Party Rock Mix". There is rap metal and pop punk. I have no idea why "Break Stuff" is on the "party" part of the mix. I was into Crazy Town at the time, as evidenced by two tracks on this mix. I'm placing this mix's date around 2001-2002. I was 16-17 and ready to rock. We all gotta start somewhere.
