Comment:

This is a collection of sad songs that is particularly meaningful to me - it was recorded in my bedroom during a particularly dark night of the soul. I've always felt that feeling depressed or sad is much more interesting and rewarding than feeling good about yourself. I play this when I want to take shelter from everything and everyone, because sometimes people just wear me out, and I can't believe I haven't walked away by now. But I always find it a draining and rewarding experience, hence the title of this collection - "Catharsis."
