Inspired by the Jesus Day 2001 celebration (June 2nd; did you miss it?), I put together a compilation CD of the oddest religion-based songs I could find. Included are: Tammy Bakker singing in a high-pitched squeal; sermons by John Rydgren, sort of a religious Ken Nordine; Eilert Pilarm, the Swedish Elvis impersonator; several tracks from 'God Is For Real, Man', an album that attempts to translate Bible stories into hip language so the kids can relate to the messages; and a song by Charlie the Hamster, who sounds like The Chipmunks, only he sings religious songs.Feedback:

Man, this is some twisted fun. You have to include a picture of Charlie the Hamster. Why someone thought an effeminate rodent would help turn kids on to Christianity is beyond me. Happy Jesus Day to you!

You left out "Jesus Was Way Cool" by King Missile ("no wonder there are so many Christians"). Otherwise, this is hilarious.
