Unfortunately, Miika Tenkula recently passed away. He was the guitarist for Sentenced. This mix was made about a month ago. "Farewell my frie)nd, you will be missed" is the lyrics in "Lower The Flags." The band frequently wrote about death until they broke up the band. This mix was put together after having an awesome party at my house. I played Rock Band with my frie(nds. As we were playing the game and drinking more, we had the joke of having a "band meeting" - joking that the band was having conflict. It was a fun as hell night. This hot chick was dancing on me while I was playing guitar on Rock Band. "I Met Her At The Rat" reminds me of this. The first two songs are on Rock Band- I sang these on vocals. "Never Get Caught" reminds me of the party- and ironically I got caught by my parents. It was worth it. Heaven and Hell is such a stellar song- Dio's vocals, Tony's riff, and Geezer's bass line. It sets the bar very high for a heavy metal song.
