Comment:

The first two songs on this mix were suggested by my frie_nd Jim (from the Grinder's Grooveyard radio show) and the name of the song for the fourth selec_tion (although his favorite version is by Sam "The Man" Taylor from back in 1955). A last minute addition to the mix by myself was track 10 (which sexes it up just a little bit). Some noteworthy songs that weren't included are "Us & Them" by Pink Floyd, "Forty Miles of Bad Road" by Duane Eddy, "Raunchy" by Ernie Freeman, "Soul Twist" by King Curtis, "Let the Good Times Roll" by Shirley & Lee, and "Last Night" by the Mar-Kays.

You beat me to this one, Joe, but I'm still in the compiling process anyway. Looks terrific!

Oh, yeah! Nothing like a smooth sax to get the grooves moving!

Yakety Yak is such a good song. The Beatles were huge Coasters fans.

This mix is great! I would have included a slew of songs from the Psych. Furs.. they had a lot of good sax parts. Also 'Saxophones' by Fear... just for good humour. "New York's alright..."
