Comment:

While visiting the folks a few weeks ago, I stopped by Vashon Island Music to discover that someone had sold off their entire vinyl collection of instrumental music from the 1950s and '60s...including eleven Bert Kaempfert LPs! All the Kaempfert tracks on this mix are from different albums, of course. to listen, visit my blog: The Homoerratic Radio Show.

Alex, looking forward to this mix featuring a signature artist of yours. I google-mapped Vashon Island, looks like a nice place.

Brilliant title! Bert was Big in his day. Excellent juxtaposing of his tracks with other artists.

Brings me back to the day when orchestra leaders of this ilk got radio play. Now that's a long time ago.
