I'm in a punk rock mood. I found out this morning that the Warped Tour is FINALLY coming to Connecticut this summer- after years of waiting! This means I get to finally see NOFX and Bad Religion and a few other punk bands I favor. NOFX hasn't played CT since their early days as a band. They are one of my favorite bands of all time. On this mix are obscure songs by NOFX. Bad Religion is Fat Mike's favorite band. He also was influenced by the next 2 bands here- RKL (Rich Kids On LSD) and SNFU (Society's No Fucking Use). RKL- eh, "Think Positive" is a kick ass song. SNFU- now here's a fucking band. Great, catchy, and memorable songs. I really like them. When I quoted the chorus lyrics on my Facebook for the song "Better Than Eddie Vedder" I got some flack for dissing Mr. Eddie Vedder. How could you say such a thing? Hey, I was just quoting the song. I actually like Eddie Vedder as a singer and I'm glad he's an atheist. Pearl Jam has some good songs but I'm not a huge fan. James Hetfield put a SNFU logo on his guitar stap in some early pictures of Metallica.
