Comment:

The "Lessons in Life" series has reached from Colorado to Sweden and now to Australia for volume 3 with johnny dark. As usual, the topic is words to live by in song. The Ann Landers crew of AotM continues its instructional journey, bringing advice to the ears of our listening audience.

The stanza from the song by The Beautiful South served as my inspiration in this mix.
Well, they say be wary of strangers
Especially if they offer you sweets
But there ain't no government health warning
On half the mad fuckers you meet.
Nevertheless, I have been making several mixes with Wayne and with each effort it gets better and better. You should never be wary of listening to any mix he posts.

To win a copy of the mix, tracked in full sound and with artwork, answer the quiz. Which band couldn't tour under its own name after letting the trademark lapse, to be picked up by impostors?

Two downloads are available, the first for a continuous mix and the second for individual songs. The songs have been mastered in the continuous mix. The individual has the basic files.

Oh! I am wishing I had chosen some of these, too! The Dark Man and The Rabbit Man do teach us well.

So far this is my favorite of the series - and that includes the one I was involved with. I'm eagerly awaiting the next volume.

Fantabulous in every way!

The Zombies were thus cursed by fakes, so Rod Argent started his Argent band. Another sad tale of music biz corruption hurting us all in the long run.

Good one guys. JD gave me an early preview so I have been listening to it for a while. The Zombies track is great.
