Comment:
I'm submitting this only for record keeping purposes. I found this cassette amongst the rubble in the basement. It was titled "Ease Back". And it is fairly easy listening. I don't remember exactly when I made it, but I'd say '95 or '96. However I do remember driving around at night listening to this tape and thinking about a girl I had just met. Must be why I littered this tape with mushy Stevie Wonder songs. Must not have been able to stand too much mush since there is a Nirvana song and a Pixies song also. I forgot about that weird little Kool Keith number. I was beg.inning to hunt up jazz and rock records at garage sales as evidenced by the Floyd and Roy Ayers songs. I think all of these songs are recorded from vinyl. Well that's the story. And the rest of the story is that the girl I met around that time is now one of my oldest frie.nds.Feedback:
Yeah, those were the good old days. I remember Kool Keith, he was, how you say, cool.
Vinyl has a different sound from CD or MP3, and that makes those old tapes so wonderful to hear again! Thanks for sharing a bit of your basement treasure.
Stevie always adds some Wonder to a mix.
awesome. I love the variety of artists. some gems here.
